Topaz ReStyle is a Photoshop plugin that allows you to change the way your photographs look by using color 8BF filters. In this regard, it is part of a family of various products created to enhance photographs and generate special moods and effects.
Its interface is quite similar to those of other Topaz products, so previous experience with them can pave the way to using this one without much difficulty. There is the main workspace in which the selected picture is shown and changes can be viewed as they are being made. The panel on the left, in turn, is where you can find multiple presets collections. These presets are intended for specific kinds of photographs and moods, and they allow you to highlight architectural, natural and even fashion elements.
Luckily, there is also a right panel where you can easily customize the selected preset. This way, it is possible to adjust not only the colors but also brightness, saturation, and contrast. It is great that you do not need to change the whole picture, as the tool supports using masks. In all cases, the results are quite good.
All in all, Topaz ReStyle can be a valuable addition to various photo-editing products, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Irfanview, PaintShop Pro and Photo Impact. I only regret it cannot be used as a standalone program.
